GolfNow.com was an online tee time booking platform with a smart business model, but very little personality. Our team was brought in to help shape the brand, drive engagement, and increase bookings in a crowded category where most competitors felt purely transactional.

To give GolfNow a recognizable voice, we created a character inspired by Old Tom Morris, one of golf’s founding legends. He became the face of the brand and helped explain the platform in a way that felt clear, entertaining, and memorable.

We rolled the campaign out across digital video, social media, website content, and live events, creating a cohesive brand system that turned a functional booking tool into something people actually wanted to engage with.

Within the first year of the campaign:

  • Total visits increased 25%

  • Bounce rate declined

  • Average time on site increased

  • Female users grew 15%

That last result was especially meaningful. The campaign was not specifically targeted to women, but it showed that when a brand becomes more interesting, approachable, and human, it can attract a broader audience than originally expected.
